Programs We Support
Scholarships & Education
Our Community Healthcare Scholarship program is focused on investing in local students pursuing medical and healthcare degrees at CSU–Pueblo, Pueblo Community College, Otero College, and IntelliTec College – Pueblo. By supporting their education, we are strengthening the workforce that serves our community, ensuring Southern Colorado has skilled, compassionate healthcare providers for years to come.
These scholarships empower students to focus on their studies, advance their careers, and ultimately give back to the community that supported them — creating a lasting impact on both individuals and the region’s health.
Whole Blood Program
The Whole Blood Program equips EMS responders with the tools to administer life-saving transfusions in the field — bringing hospital-level care directly to the scene. It significantly improves survival rates, shortens ICU stays, and enhances recovery right here in Southern Colorado.
Cancer Support
Donations help sustain programs at the UCHealth Cancer Center – Pueblo:
- Cancer Patient Assistance: Help support cancer patients with available lodging in the new Cancer Patient Guest House (opening November 2026) to ensure patients undergoing treatment do not have to cancel or delay their treatment.
- Cancer Center: Supports the advancement of cancer treatment services, prevention, and education programs – all in one convenient Southern Colorado location.
Greatest Needs
The UCHealth Parkview Foundation’s Greatest Needs Fund provides flexible support for the areas of the hospital and community programs that need it most. This fund allows us to respond quickly to emerging priorities, support critical initiatives, and invest in improvements that directly enhance patient care and staff resources.
